ContextThis project was part of Google News Initiative (GNI) Contributions Lab program, which enables news organizations to build robust digital contribution / membership models, for the sustainable creation of quality journalism without restricting content to consumers.

- produce best practices and tools for building and optimizing contributions models;
- test out hypotheses on the conditios and activities that contribute to sucessfull contribuitions;
- inform efforts to accelerate contribution models for mid-size and small news organizations.
